We built this site so that doesn’t happen. Every medical center in our directory is verified by a human editor against the facility’s own published page or its national accreditation listing — not auto-scraped, not pulled from a stale third-party database, not generated.

We go further than typical: we manually capture screenshots of the facility’s live website at the time of verification, so the version of the services list and contact details we describe matches what you actually see when you click. When the facility redesigns its site, restructures, merges, or is acquired, we re-verify, re-capture screenshots, and update the page.

What This Site Is For

Healthcare delivery in English-speaking countries operates under very different frameworks. The United States runs a mixed public-private system with Medicare, Medicaid, employer-sponsored insurance, and the federal community health center network funded through HRSA. The United Kingdom runs the National Health Service (NHS), with parallel systems in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Canada operates a publicly-funded provincial system under the Canada Health Act. Australia runs a public Medicare system alongside a substantial private health sector. The structures differ — but in each country, the question “where do I go for this kind of care?” is fundamentally the same.

How We Find and Verify — The Eight-Step Process

1. Identify the right authoritative source. We start with the facility’s own .gov, .org, .nhs.uk, .ca, or .au domain page, cross-checked against national references — Hospital Compare/Care Compare in the US (medicare.gov/care-compare), CQC’s Find a Service in the UK (cqc.org.uk), Accreditation Canada in Canada (accreditation.ca), and AIHW MyHospitals in Australia (aihw.gov.au).
2. Verify the URL is live. A human editor clicks every link before publication.
3. Capture screenshots manually. The verifying editor takes a screenshot of the facility’s homepage, services page, and emergency-department page (where applicable), dated and stored for editorial reference.
4. Dial-test the main switchboard. We call the main number on a quarterly cycle.
5. Verify the address. Physical and mailing addresses cross-checked against the facility’s contact page and against country-specific postal lookup.
6. Pin the Google Maps location. Pinned to the verified street address, not to a generic city centre.
7. Cross-reference national accreditation and quality data. Joint Commission accreditation status (US), CQC rating (England), Accreditation Canada award (Canada), ACSQHC standards engagement (Australia).
8. Editor sign-off. A second editor reviews end-to-end before publication, including a fresh check on the not-medical-advice notice and the emergency routing block.

The official facility contact always comes first on every page, before any commercial reference. We do not accept advertising from operations marketing as if they were a hospital or healthcare regulator, paid-placement directories that misrepresent themselves as official directories, FCRA-prohibited "background check" products dressed as physician-research tools, or operations promoting unregulated medical claims, miracle-cure marketing, or unauthorised pharmaceutical sales. Corrections and Feedback

Medical center contact details change — facility mergers, network rebrands, address moves, phone-system overhauls, and website redesigns are routine in healthcare. If you spot something on the site that doesn’t match the live facility page, or you’ve called and confirmed something is wrong, please email us. Reader-reported corrections are our priority queue and get a response within seven business days, with a 48-hour expedited path for actively-broken phone numbers and addresses.
